In this part, we install two instances of Windows Server 2012 R2 for our primary and backup domain controllers. We name the servers, set static IP addresses, and then installed DNS, and DHCP – and then kicked off Windows Update to get patched.
This is nothing more than the installations, in preparation for installing and configuring Active Directory, which will be done in part 3.
