How to delete a project from TFS online

This has come up a few times now, and I’ve needed to research it each time! So, for Future Robert, here’s what you need to know… From this directory:

C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0Common7IDE

Run something like this:

TFSDeleteProject.exe /collection:https://MyNameHere.visualstudio.com/DefaultCollection SederSoftware.ProjectName

This is assuming that your TFS online URL was “mynamehere.visualstudio.com and the project name was SederSoftware.ProjectName. You get an output like this:

And that’s it!
