It turns out there is a ton of really interesting material on http://www.ObjectMentor.com – the Internet home of author Robert C. Martin. In particular, this chapter on SRP is interesting and well-worded. We have all read indirectly about some of the ideas behind proper loose-coupling, but this short chapter has a pretty good, specific example:
