Office Web Apps vs Google Apps?

This is actually quite amazing! You may be familiar with Google Docs and how you can edit documents, spreadsheets, etc in a browser. Well, Microsoft quietly launched an equivalent and it’s available to everyone, right now! First, see this blog post:

It looks like they took some features from SharePoint 2010, in terms of menuing and how to edit content in the browser. The result is pretty slick! If you want to see for yourself or try, I created some sample documents here:

They are marked as public, so I think you can either click to view or actually edit them. This is pretty impressive!
