First, this week two of my classes are ending so I have finals and papers due on Saturday, plus I’m sitting for the CISSP exam on Saturday – oh crap! Needless to say, I’m a tad burnt out at the moment, but wanted to get at least a quick blog post out.
Apperently we have this writer invited to speak at a 1-day seminar in May. I googled the book he wrote:
Just look at the first page of each of the "laws" – it looks quite interesting!! I just ordered it from Amazon, I’ll let you know how it is. Meanwhile, I’m also done "Principles of an Agile Developer" (www.pragprog.com), and next in the queue is "Pragmatic Unit Testing with C# and NUnit" (also pragprog.com). I got that book because Jamie and I teach a class on this, although we are switching to MSTest in a few months. I thought it would still be useful to check out. Certainly, the concepts still apply even if the syntax doesn’t.
That’s all I have on the reading front for now. I hope to get back to a regular blogging schedule next week. Studying for CISSP in addition to 3 classes, plus work has proven to be almost too much. So pass or fail on Saturday, that will be one huge thing off my plate finally!
